Our History
Master Chungsik Choi of Johnson City is a leader by occupation: He has run a taekwondo studio in Vestal since the 1980s. But he is also a leader in a broader sense, someone who shares his experience and philosophy with the community at large through training and education.
Choi is a fifth-degree black belt who coached for the U.S. National Jr. Olympic Taekwondo team coach as well as the Sr. National Taekwondo Team. and has trained with world champions. In addition to running Choi’s Tae Kwon Do Academy, he has been practicing taekwondo for nearly half a century.
